G'day Cobbers!

I was having lunch at Pizza Hut today and some really old guy said "G'day cobber" to me. This led me to think about how it's sad that nobody really uses the word cobber anymore these days. So I hereby decree that today be Australian Cobber Day. Say "G'day cobber" to someone you know today (or even a complete stranger.. I bet they appreciate it). Also today, you might have noticed I've gona a bit cosmetic of the navbar at the side there, and added curvy bits. Mmm... curvy...

Wow! New Toys!

A few changes, nothing too drastic. zen overide has been added to my Friends section. I've added a search engine. Now you can search my entire site for whatever the hell you want. Check the side-bar to the left. I've got a proper mailing list set up now. Sign up at the left. Dont be scared, I'm not going to send you spam every day or anything. Only a brief email whenever I make any real changes to the site. And going by how often I update this thing, It wont be much. I've added a funky scan-line effect to the random images in the navigation bar (herefore known as the nav-bar). I've butted the head bar up to the top of the screen giving the site a less flimsy feel. I also have stuck all the sections in the nav-bar together to give it more of a solid feel. I replaced the random picture and quote generators with an ASP equivelent. I've got a bit ASP crazy of late, but perl is still cooler. Ummm... thats all I think... Well, there you go. There was quite a few updates there...

New News Updater Installed

Hi folks! I've installed a copy of NewsPro, a great news updating CGI script. After toying with so many different ASP news updaters with little success, I've gone for this cool one. It took very little time to install and configure so finally I'm happy. Its got most of the features that the other one's have got and it has support for plug-ins so you can add even more features to it once things are going smoothly. What does this mean for you? Well for starters, the news posts on this page are going to become more frequent; not just when I've made some major updates, but whenever I think of something strange or... um... well, whenever I want to, really... Cool eh?

Mailing List and Survey

Sorry for the delays in the updates. Here's whats new: Output: See what I got up to on Xmas Eve. I know its late, but as you can see there's still a few more pages to do before I get caught up to the present. That weird little quote you might have seen at the left about the goldfish was only intended as temporary filler space until I got the random quote generator going. Well now you should see a different quote everytime this page is reloaded. Thanks go to Noel for his help. I'll learn perl properly yet! Also the pic of my eyeball at the left above the quote was starting to freak a few people out, so it is also randomly chosen with each new page reload. There are 5 possible pics so far with more to come. Who knows... you may even see your face there one day! (or maybe not) Finally, I have set up a mailing list to infom you when this site is updated. If you would like to be informed of when this site gets some new stuff on it, fill in the box below and submit it. Theres also an impromptu poll which you may submit at the same time by clicking the drop-down menu. The results will be released as soon as I get enough votes, so get clickin'! Mailing list removed due to lack of interest (mainly mine)

Just a few updates for today

Check out the Output section to see what happened as I saw it at the March Muckup. Also find out how McMedia spent its Xmas Camp at Echuca. More updates to come in the next few days. As you can see there are still a fair few gaps around the place, especially in the Output and Friends sections.

It's midnight and this sucker is finally online! I'm sleepy so I'm not gunna write much here right now... just have a look around... I'll write more tomorrow about the different sections...
